One Last Fling

I've decided to do another 30 for 30 (see my first one here). Starting next Monday, I'll build 30 outfits with only 30 pieces, so this week feels like one last fling with the rest of my closet. Today's outfit is an amalgam of pieces that almost made the 30 but that I cut at the last minute--my black dress with a ruffled neck, a comfy chambray shirt, one of my favorite sweaters, and the boots-that-saved-me-last-winter. Today, I'm also trying out the knee socks again after last week, which my sister tells me was a little much. Thank goodness for the honesty of siblings, right? The socks are a bit more demure with tights and helped keep me warm when it was chilly this morning.
Anyone else trying a 30 for 30, either on their blog or in real life? I'm a little nervous for the next one, but excited about the pieces I've picked, which I'll post about this weekend.
